Managing Owners

How to handle sensitive event permissions onchain.

As events can be deployed on different chains with standalone contracts, owners are managed at the event level:

1. Navigate to the "Owners'"tab for your event, for example: https://blocklive.io/manage/all/event/[insert-your-event]/owners

1. Click "Add owner", select the relevant permissions, input the public key of the intended wallet address, and click initiate transaction. Confirm the transaction in your connected self custodial wallet and wait for confirmation. All set. If you're having any issues, make sure your connected wallet is one of the current Owner accounts on the event with the "Changes" permission enabled:

1. Optional: You can name the connected owner accounts and add a profile image so it's easier to remember who has access to sensitive permissions on the event contract.
