# What is Blocklive?

Blocklive is an entertainment infrastructure platform. With Blocklive, event producers can control their ticket sales and create consumer journeys onchain with Acts, Points, and Exclusive Drops. 

Blocklive can be understood in three parts:

* **Blocklive App**: an event production and management application for producers to launch onchain experiences. 
* **Blocklive Middleware**: progressive wallet applications designed for a mixed crypto-savvy and naive audiences, as well as infrastructure for on- and off-chain payments.
* **Blocklive Contracts**: a set of smart contracts and NFT standards designed specifically for use cases in entertainment such as ticketing, memberships, and interactive digital merch.
